History

Salahadeen Center of Nashville was established in 1998 in Nashville; TN. What was once started as a small community center, now is one of the largest community centers in town, it serves South Nashville, and towns to the south of Nashville, like Antioch, Smyrna, La vergen, and Nolensville.

The organization is managed by an elected Executive board which reports to the Board of Trustees.

SCN's main objectives are the upbringing of Muslim children and serving our community.

The Sunday school has been established few months after the establishing of the Center for the purpose of building Muslim character, strong faith and knowledge.

SCN is a membership organization registered in the State of Tennessee as a non-profit, tax-exempt corporation.

Since its establishment, the center members are grown significantly. The center now own three buildings, the main prayer building is located in 364 Elysian Fields Road, and it serves as the main prayer and activity building. The second building is used for the weekend school classes for boys. The third building is rented and is now a grocery store.

Organization Information

Salahadeen Center of Nashville (SCN) is one of the largest Muslim communities in the state of Tennessee. SCN is a nonprofit 501c (3) Organization. It serves over 10,000 families in Nashville and surrounding towns.

The Center is governed by Executive Board, which consists of 7-members elected by the members of the SCN every two years. They Center also has a board of trustees consist of 9 members.

The center, beside regular prayer services, is engaged in many activities, government relations, social services, and community service.

Also SCN has weekend School, and summer school programs.
 

Our Center is accessible to service the Muslim and specifically Kurdish communities in the greater Nashville area, With a group of sincere staff and strongly committed individuals working voluntarily to service the community, our community members have found us to be one of the best centers available in the area and therefore gets the attention of people of different nationalities to attend the center which has grown dramatically over the last decade.

Envolvment > We are proud to work with other non-profit organizations around Nashville area to accomplish a unified community especially for reasons concerning the Muslim community as a whole.

Excellent support > The cornerstone of any good non-profit organization is solid and sincere support to members. At our center, we provide levels of support, which include individual support for your specific needs as the center is capable, legal document support needed from the center and support to answer questions on issues and challenges you face that require a thoughtfull answer based on an Islamic view,

Our people > We have a group of people committed to their faith and sincere work towards the commnity,  We're not limited to working by the hour for any monitary returns but rather we are volunteers to work in the sake of goodness towards the commnity we interact with. However, we do ask for your Duaa and God's support.
